- I'm on a volunteer fire department. We just recently started reporting to
- traffic accidents, so my experience here is limited, but using the crowbar
- (we don't have JAWS yet) is the method of choice, to eliminate the broken
- glass getting on the patient. Also, most cars are built so crappy that
- they deform such that you can't open the doors if they're unlocked anyway,
- after a major crash.

- If the car is smashed up good, a bit of crowbar (jaws) damage won't matter
- much, the insurance companies have too much of our money anyway.
