  17. All I can share is that on my '82 Subaru, the halfshaft slips away from
  18. the tranny after tapping out a "spring pin" which goes through a hole
  19. in the side of the axel shaft near the trans.  If you have something
  20. like that let me know and I'll tell you how to get it out.
