- My roommate's Terrible Taurus had a Check Engine light problem, which
- also manifested itself as stumbling etc. It turned out to be a
- worn-out throttle position sensor. Check this if your Tempo has the
- EEC-IV engine computer (typically all fuel-injected Fords after '86?
- have it).
