  13. The "check engine" light on my '89 Ford Tempo has been coming on 
  14. intermittantly the last few days.  I don't have the owners manual
  15. and my Haynes book on it doesn't say anything about this indicator.

  17. Could someone please tell me the conditions which can cause the 
  18. "Check Engine" light to come on?
