  13. -> I am in need of a new set of shocks for my 1979 RX7.  The present set
  14. -> is completely sacked.  Does anyone have recommendations on a good set
  15. -> of shocks for this car?  Performance is more of a
  16. -> concern than ride quality.

  18.  After years of experimenting, I now simply use KYB Gas-A-Just shocks
  19. and strut inserts.  I have one set that have seen 16 years of hard
  20. driving and are still rock hard.

  22.  KYB doesn't seem to vary their valving much from car to car.  They're
  23. relatively stiff on heavy cars, and *very* stiff on light ones.  That's
  24. fine - I love them anyway.
