- -> I am in need of a new set of shocks for my 1979 RX7. The present set
- -> is completely sacked. Does anyone have recommendations on a good set
- -> of shocks for this car? Performance is more of a
- -> concern than ride quality.
-
- After years of experimenting, I now simply use KYB Gas-A-Just shocks
- and strut inserts. I have one set that have seen 16 years of hard
- driving and are still rock hard.
-
- KYB doesn't seem to vary their valving much from car to car. They're
- relatively stiff on heavy cars, and *very* stiff on light ones. That's
- fine - I love them anyway.
