- The Hummm, and other problems (wavy bar running up the screen, etc) are
- usually due to ground loops through the cable system/your system.

- Try using a pair of back to back 75 - 300 ohm matching transformers

- Coax (from wall) to (75==>300) to (300==>75) to Coax to TV.

- This should isolate the cable Co's ground and only introduce a very minute
- loss.
