  12. The Hummm, and other problems (wavy bar running up the screen, etc) are
  13. usually due to ground loops through the cable system/your system.

  15. Try using a pair of back to back 75 - 300 ohm matching transformers
  16.  
  17. That is

  19. Coax (from wall) to (75==>300) to (300==>75) to Coax to TV.
  20.  
  21. This should isolate the cable Co's ground and only introduce a very minute
  22. loss.
