- I'll soon be in the market for a new pair of speakers. I was wondering
- what suggestions you people in Net-Land may have. I'd rather not spend
- over $1,500 for the pair, although I would be willing to go a little
- higher if it was worth it. My current system is:
- Adcom GFA-555II (for main speakers)
- Adcom GFA-535 (for front ambiant speakers)
- Adcom GTP-500II
- Adcom GCD-575
- Yamaha DSP-E300 (digital signal processor and
- Dolby Pro-Logic)
- KEF C-55 (front ambiant)
- Polk Audio CS100 Center Channel
- and some pair of Yamaha active servo rear
- speakers that I forgot the model
- I have all StraightWire Flex cables (interconnects and speaker cable). I
- generally listen to "classic rock," (the John Cougar, Stones, type stuff),
- some classical, and stuff like John Hiatt, Bob Mould etc. Unfortunately,
- I live in Fargo, North Dakota where there are few higher end audio stores
- I can get to some pretty well stocked audio stores on occasion. Anyway,
- if any of you have any suggestions, I'd appreciate it.
