  25.    I did just that with my HD424's a few years back. It is quite likely
  26. that your 430's can be repaired by ordering the driver from Sennheiser.
  27. They do have a US branch where you can get the replacement. Don't
  28. recall the address, but you could probably get it by looking for a 
  29. Sennheiser ad in Stereo Review or another audio mag - the phone and/or
  30. address is probably listed in the ad.
