- Not owning a Pioneer, but another ld unit I'd recommend doing the following:
- asking the salesman to see specifications...look especially to sampling rates
- [or if it's 1bit don't worry about that] and number of channels...other than
- that it'll basically equal a midrange cd player.

- I'd recommend trying to find a company that can ship LDs...they're VERY common
- in Japan, which would be my recommended source since you're in
- Australia...although English titles may be a bit more difficult to find there
- than in the west coast of the US. I've heard good things about Ken Crane's in
- the Los Angeles area (310) 474-8008...good luck.
