  10. Well, I think I will go ahead and check into low priced (<$500) speaker
  11. systems. It turns out that my roomate is considering some higher end
  12. componenents (well, higher than Radio Sh*t)  :)  so we will have between us
  13. a decent (by poor college student standards) system. I think I will take
  14. the advice of several of you and ignore the techno-snobs who wish me to
  15. bankrupt myself. Actually, there advice is ok, but I don't want to wait
  16. until I graduate before buying some of th stuff they advocated. Hell, I 
  17. won't be done with grad school until 98 or so. PhD's take a while you know.
  18. So, thanks for everyone's help. I also am going to check into the CSW stuff.
  19. They are sending me a catalog as I write. I'll post to the net in the future
  20. if I purchase some equipment. Thanks again.
