  20. Folks, you may remember me as the inventor guy with the wheelchair
  21. ramp, or you may remember the posts from my partner in the project,
  22. MINSTREL.  We are vey close to going into production, and WE NEED
  23. YOUR HELP!!

  25. See, we've tested the first ramp with several power chairs, a
  26. number of standard manual chairs,  manual chairs with the new
  27. slanted wheel design, and even oversized manual chairs (for larger
  28. folks).  It works fine for every chair we've tested.  We've run a
  29. motorcycle and one wheel of a car over it too, we know it's strong
  30. enough!

  32. We've also measured all of the chairs mentioned, and found that a
  33. standard chair has a 23.5" wheelbase (manual or electric).  The
  34. oversize chairs are an inch or two more.

  36. But we are getting ready to build a really expensive mold for these
  37. things we need to KNOW what the wheelbase is in the worst possible
  38. case, before we do so.

  40. So I am asking (well really, I am begging and pleading on bended
  41. knees!) all of you who are chair users to answer two simple
  42. questions for us.

  44. 1. What is the wheelbase of YOUR chair?
  45. 2. What is the wheelbase of the largest chair you know of?
  46.  
  47. Some of you have already given us information, which is greatly
  48. appreciated!  I'm sorry that I don't have time to thank each one of
  49. you who has helped us in this project.  Guess I'll just have to say
  50. thanks to all of you!
