- They teach classes all over the place (I actually drove to North Carolina
- to take my WEMT course 'cause I wanted to get it done ASAP). I just received
- their latest schedule yesterday. They offer wilderness EMT, wilderness FR
- and wilderness rescue courses.
-
- My schedule shows that WMA is teaching WFR courses in West Milford, NJ
- in February and June next year. They do not offer WEMT courses there.
-
- The WMA courses are certified by NASAR (National Association for Search
- and Rescue), whereas Solo's courses are not. This may be enitrely political,
- but there have been some questions as to the quailty and consistency of Solo's
- courses.
-
- Disclaimer: I am in no way associated with WMA, I just took their WEMT upgrade
- course, and was very happy with it.
