  13. My daughter recently (last week) moved to Chicago to go to school.
  14. While in Florida, I was picking up the tab for her HMO fees, but
  15. since she has moved, she is no longer eligible for this plan.

  17. What I would *like* to be able to do is to have some sort of major
  18. medical insurance policy, so that if she gets into serious medical
  19. trouble, the insurance will pay for it.  Meanwhile, since she is young
  20. and healthy, I don't mind paying out-of-pocket for the occasional
  21. sore throat, sprained ankle, etc.  She is technically an adult (22),
  22. but not really ready to be self-sufficient :-(

  24. Anyone have any thoughts on this?  Especially anyone who might know
  25. about what is available in Illinois, since I know each state probably
  26. is a little different.
