- [[ dishwasher recommendations requested ]]
-
- I, too, looked at the KitchenAid models and was very satisified with what
- I saw. However, at the time, I would have had to build all the plumbing
- and electrical connections plus the counter under which to put the
- dishwasher (plus a fair bit of other constuction, undoubtably).
-
- I ended up buying a "portable" model, made by InSinkErator. Comparing
- models of the under-counter, InSinkErator seemed to be a bit less
- expensive that the exact same model of KitchenAid, even though they are
- made by the exact same company. The explanation by the sales person was
- that InSinkErator tends to be sold through contractors (hence harder to
- find by mortals) while KitchenAid is retail (available at local Circuit
- City).
-
- Moral: If you want KitchenAid, also check out InSinkErator. Same guts,
- different packaging.
