- I know that re-activating charcoal is a long process, and one that
- can probably not be done at home (ie the charcoal needs to be heated to
- a certain high temp. etc). I do know that all the NSA activated water
- charcoal filters, when finally deactivated (approx. 3 yrs), are sent
- back to NSA and they reactivate the charcoal.
