  15. Animals, the Earth and Ourselves:
  16.          A Youth Empowerment Workshop

  19.    Zoe Weil, director of the AAVS educational program ANIMALEARN,
  20. and Sally Clinton, director of the Vegetarian Education Network, will
  21. be hosting "Animals, the Earth and Ourselves: A Youth Empowerment
  22. Workshop," September 19-20, 1992.
  23.    The workshop is designed for 13-20 year olds who are active in the
  24. animal rights and environmental movements.  Its purpose is to promote
  25. empowerment, energy and commitment among youth who are working on
  26. behalf of the planet.
  27.    During the course of the weekend participants will enjoy a variety of
  28. exercises designed to deepen their connection to nature, foster their
  29. self-esteem, and bring them together towards a common goal -- helping
  30. animals and the earth.
  31.    The workshop will be held at the home of Sally Clinton, located in a
  32. beautiful farm setting in Lancaster County, Pa.  For more information,
