  21.      A new party convened on August 28, 1992 in Washington, DC to
  22.  
  23. establish a constitution, bylaws and platform and also to plan
  24.  
  25. recruiting efforts.  The party is called "The 21st Century Party"
  26.  
  27. and is a response to all those who feel that the Democrats and
  28.  
  29. Republicans do not "listen" to them.  Our present form of political
  30.  
  31. organization constitutes overrepresentation of a narrow elite and
  32.  
  33. underrepresentation of the rest of the nation.  WE are the rest of
  34.  
  35. the nation!
  36.  
  37.      The new party is dedicated to:  equality between women and men
  38.  
  39. as well as people of all races and ethnicities; banning
  40.  
  41. discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation, religion, creed,
  42.  
  43. disability, or marital status; non-violence; restoring a healthy
  44.  
  45. environment; the elimination of exploitative labor practices,
  46.  
  47. demilitarization of all societies; the elimination of poverty,
  48.  
  49. hunger and homelessness; and the pursuit of liberty, justice and
  50.  
  51. happiness for all people.

  53.      The officers of the 21st Century Party are:
