  11. Could someone email me with any info regarding the possibility of accessing 
  12. specific memory locations in a PC. I would like to convert 'normal' DOS 
  13. programs which use 'far pointers' set to d000000 to access data in an 
  14. acquisition card and to communicate with its on-board Z80. 
  15. I am not sure how to access physical memory while in the extended and 
  16. protected mode offered by djgpp. 
  17. Easy? possible? such a pain that it is not worth the hassle?
