  12. I am trying to install gcc under Ultrix 4.2 on a vax.  The configure
  13. command seems to work and the compile proceeds for quite some time, but
  14. then gags and spits out this:

  16. cpp: error /usr/tmp/cca01047.s:1: undefined control
  17. cpp: error /usr/tmp/cca01047.s:37: undefined control
  18. cpp: error /usr/tmp/cca01047.s:39: undefined control
  19. *** Error code 1

  21. I can't find these files where it says they are.  I figured maybe my cpp
  22. was lousing up the works and tried using the one in the gcc directory
  23. without any obvious change.

  25. Anybody got any ideas?  I would greatly appreciate any help.
