- I had assumed that gcc 2, which incorporates C++ would be the compiler
- to use for C++ and would make g++ obsolete. However, from the recent
- announcement of g++ 1.41, it seems that g++ is still supported
- separately. My question now is: Is there a difference in the implementations
- of C++ in the two compilers? If so, is the gcc version more up to date
- with the developments of the ANSI standard? Thanks.
