- Currently the most common reason that I leave emacs is to look at files too big
- to be edited of view within an emacs buffer. Large listings (like ls-lR from
- uunet), output of a command where I only want the top few lines of the output,
- etc are examples of typical applications. Is what I want to do within emacs
- is 'more'. I can't easily do this in shell mode because of the limited
- settings for the TERM "emacs". Has anyone develop a way to do more within
- emacs ?
-
- Thanks.
