- Hi,
-
- I am pretty new to Emacs. Used to PC Keyboard, I would like to know
- if there are ways out there so that my personalized Emacs would
- behave like a WP. For instance, <Home> moves cursor to beginning of line,
- <F10> saves a file, <F7> saves a file before prompting for exit, and
- of course, <F1> invokes help, etc.
-
- Here in Indiana University, we do have a customized version of Emacs which
- allows use of arrow keys. I know there is something to do with the .emacs
- file, but I would rather use a thoroughly tested package, or a one that
- does most of what I want and need just a few minor modifications. If anyone
- out there has such a package, or knows where to get, please, please let
- me know.
-
- Your help appreciated.
