- You seem to advocate bicycling as an alternative that would work for large
- numbers of people. It does work for you, but you might want to consider the
- fairly large group of people who are disabled, suffer from asthma or allergies,
- don't know how to ride bikes, or are too overweight to ride ("they should
- just get into better shape is not always a solution - I've seen some of the
- literature on obesity). In addition, not every company has a place to shower
- up after a ride in 90F heat :) .

- PS I do like the HOV-2 idea. To find one person with a flexible enough
- schedule would be much simpler!
