  20.     Apparently when Bladerunner was released back in 1982, a great deal of
  21.     footage that Ridley Scott had wanted in the film was left out by the
  22.     studio in the final cut.  Rumor has it that the restored footage changes
  23.     the character of the film.  ( Perhaps making it more like Philip K. Dick's
  24.     book _Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?_ ).

  26.     Anyway the release of the director's cut of Bladerunner has been hinted
  27.     at for a little over a year now.  Seems Sept. 11th is the date.

  29.     BTW:  Thanks to all who responded.  I've found the theater in D.C. that
  30.     will be showing the film.
