- I finally installed HPUX 8.0 on one of my HP 9000 series 300 systems and so I
- built a new copy of X11R5. I modified hp.cf only to change OsMajorVersion
- from 7 to 8. The build and install were both flawless, but every executable
- that I've tried which attemts to access a display dumps core with a floating
- point exception. I'm going to start looking into this, but surely someone
- has dealt with this and can mail me a solution.
-
- I will try to track my query within news, but I would prefer direct mailings.
-
- Thanks in advance for any and all responses,
- -John
