  12.         Past requests for information on this subject have failed, but I will
  13. try again.

  15.         I am interested in fast, flicker free animation.  I have heard of a
  16. color table swapping method.  I have also heard of an offscreen pixmap xoring
  17. method.  Both of these methods I believe, only draw and remove changing
  18. portions of the screen.

  20.         Could someone please direct me towards example source code, or tell
  21. me the basic idea behind either of these methods.  I am quite capable with
  22. unix and X application programming.
