- Past requests for information on this subject have failed, but I will
- try again.

- I am interested in fast, flicker free animation. I have heard of a
- color table swapping method. I have also heard of an offscreen pixmap xoring
- method. Both of these methods I believe, only draw and remove changing
- portions of the screen.

- Could someone please direct me towards example source code, or tell
- me the basic idea behind either of these methods. I am quite capable with
- unix and X application programming.
