  14. 1) Is there a bug in the HP X server that comes with a 700 series box. Sorry
  15.    I don't know the server version ID.

  17.    The bug is that if a make a pixmap, clear it using XFillRectangel,
  18.    draw a string with XDrawString in the pixmap. The copy the pixmap, rotating
  19.    it, into another pixmap, then copy this into a window, I get garbage where
  20.    there should be a pixel rotated string. This is running on SPARC or
  21.    DECstation and displaying on HP. It runs fine on all other platforms, when
  22.    displaying on DEC, SPARC, IBM...

  24. 2) XtDefaultFont defines a backup font. I guess this is hard coded in the
  25.    program and is not picked up at Program Invocation time. TRUE or FALSE?

  27.    Evidence I have points to TRUE (unfortunately). ie if I run on a DECstation,
  28.    but display on HP or IBM some fonts are found and in that case I ask for
  29.    XtDefaultFont... that isn't found either!
