- *** I posted this under a wrong title a while ago. Sorry for that. ***
-
- FAQ says "xvttool" is on titan.rice.edu. But seems that host is no longer
- there (I got "unknown host" from several machines). I'll appreciate it
- if anyone can give an alternative site or so.
-
- The actual problem I have is that I have to access some other machines
- (including a VAX running VMS, an IBM workstation running AIX, etc.) from
- a SUN Sparc IPC on which I'm currently running OpenWindows (with olwm).
- Due to space limit I only have the standard OpenWindows programs on local
- host which basically offers cmdtool as the only shell window type. Since
- the other machines does not have sun-cmd or sun (or even xterm -- I can get
- "xterm") as a recognizable term type, I cannot do any screen oriented work.
- I hope xvttool will be a cure, but if anyone has other suggestion I'll
- also appreciate it.
-
- Please reply to my e-mail address. Thanks!
