  13.       I hope this is the right group to post this to.

  15.       I would like to know if anyone has any Visual Basic code
  16.       which would show me how to open up a COM port.  I would
  17.       like to use my modem as an auto-dialer.  I have looked through
  18.       the visual basic book and have not found any information except
  19.       that I should use the windows API calls.  Unfortunately,
  20.       a list of API calls was not included with my visual basic
  21.       documentation.
