-
- Hardly an exception. I have installed smail2.5 on aprox 18 Xenix systems
- so far. Most of which I simply copied the binaries over to the box and
- executed the install script. Piece of cake. Smail2.5 is standard on
- all SCO Xenix the systems we administrate.
-
- Up until last month when we upgraded our main system to SCO Unix, we had
- more than 23 uucp sites and had over 2.5 Gigabytes of traffic monthly. This
- of course was using an antiquated operating system that according to
- Marc can't deal with this type of load...:-)
-
- None of these systems use SMTP in fact none of them have any
- networking at all except UUCP. Most are between 2 and 30 users and all
- of them are quite content with their installations. They like the fact that
- they don't have to administrate them. Just feed them tapes for daily
- backups and pay the electric bills. We call each system about once every
- couple months just to see if there are any problems.
