- My experiences with the PowerPorts cards was much better. We used six of the
- PowerPorts 16 (the 8-port card with a 8-port daughtercard), and had absolutely
- no problems installing and configuring them. (Their Powerstor series of
- caching controllers, however, was QUITE another story. ]-:)

- The original poster was asking about XENIX -- XENIX was the first O/S that
- Consensys worked with, supposedly, so I'd be surprised if it had problems. I
- was running on AT&T SVR3.2.2; your mileage may vary.

- I also had big problems getting the PowerPorts/HD series cards to work on the
- same machine -- the card driver and WIN/TCP for Streams didn't play nice.
- Never did determine who exactly was at fault.
