  24. I have compiled this, and gotten it running many moons ago on Xenix using
  25. CGI and an EGA monitor.   It works mostly fine, and Ron deserves much credit, 
  26. but:
  27.     1. It gets confused at about half of all the images I have presented
  28.     it with;
  29.  
  30.     2. It is slower than a PC .exe running under VP/ix.  The latter also
  31.     usually does some conversion, etc.

  33. You are welcome to the gif executable, although making it from the sources
  34. is trivial.  The real hassle is setting up CGI.
