  13. The underlying linear algebra package used by linpack, eispack, and LAPACK is
  14. called blas. Does anyone have a version of this optimized for DECstations?
  15. Some manufacturers (eg IBM) actually provide a very fast machine code form
  16. with their workstations. Not DEC, I guess?!
