- Hi all!
-
- I'm trying to communicate with a RS232 card in our Xerox 7033 telefax machine.
- The problem is to tell this card that I have commands for it.
- To make it listen to me at all, I have to turn on the RTS (request to send) modem
- line, and then wait for the CTS (clear to send) to go high. When all this is OK,
- I can start transmitting commands to the RS232 card.
-
- What I can't find from the manpages on terminal control, is how to control (check
- and set) the RTS and CTS modem lines.
- Is there anyone out there (!) that has any experience on this, and hopefully could
- help me on this?
- (I know this is possible on Sun boxes running SunOS ).
-
- BTW, I'm running Ultrix 4.2 on a DECstation 5000/240.
