- We have a network of DEC 5000/200 and we wanted to get rid of
- dxsession. We wanted to go to using xdm as the login prompter.
- We were able to get it to work, except that all console output
- would go to the background, as if the console was a line
- terminal, instead of our hoped for console xterm. Because of
- this, we gave it up.
-
- So my question is, does anybody have this set up so that it works
- correctly? If so, would that kind soul please either post or
- email me an explanation of what we would need to do? Like a copy
- of their /etc/ttys and anything else that needs to be changed.
-
- I will post email replies to the net if there is interest.

- Thanks
