- I've got a number of DS5000/200s running Ultrix 4.2a that act as
- time-sharing hosts for a couple thousand dialup users. The dial folks
- telnet in to these hosts from terminal server/modem pools. I frequently
- see telnetds looping away for hundreds of minutes of CPU time after
- their connections have been closed by the remote end. Has anyone else
- seen this? Should I replace the DEC telnetd with the latest BSD version?
-
- Thanks.
