- I had a similar problem. I could not access the ports with cu or cat BUT
- kermit and ecu worked fine. If this is the case, then the cure that worked
- for me was simply to set the modem to assert DTR all the time. If you are
- using terminals to test the serial ports then this probably is not the problem.
- If you have a breakout box you could check whether DTR is being asserted.
