- FAS is for SVR3 and SAS is for SVR4. This is because SVR4 uses STREAMS
- drivers and FAS doesn't support STREAMS. It is possible to run FAS
- on SVR4 (using the compatibility modules ttcompat and ldterm) but
- for SVR4 it would be the cleaner and maybe the more efficient way to
- use a "pure" STREAMS driver.
- As you are running SVR3 FAS is the only (and IMHO the best) choice.

- FAS 2.10 has been posted to alt.sources and I'am sure that the next
- ftp archive has it. Otherwise try "archie -s fas-2.10". As a last
- resort I can give you a address in Netherlands:
