  27. FAS is for SVR3 and SAS is for SVR4. This is because SVR4 uses STREAMS
  28. drivers and FAS doesn't support STREAMS. It is possible to run FAS
  29. on SVR4 (using the compatibility modules ttcompat and ldterm) but
  30. for SVR4 it would be the cleaner and maybe the more efficient way to
  31. use a "pure" STREAMS driver.
  32. As you are running SVR3 FAS is the only (and IMHO the best) choice.

  34. FAS 2.10 has been posted to alt.sources and I'am sure that the next
  35. ftp archive has it. Otherwise try "archie -s fas-2.10". As a last
  36. resort I can give you a address in Netherlands:
  37. ftp.win.tue.nl (131.155.70.100). But I think ftp.uu.net has it too.
