- I'm trying to get ISC ver 2.2.1 to work with a Future Domain TMC 885 (6.01 ROMS)
- SCSI card. The manual specifically says it supports this model, so I assume
- it should work!
- I have 2 IDE drives as my primary controller, so I configed the FD card
- as the secondary controller on IRQ12. For some reason, when I
- configured in the SCSI card, no entry was put in gendev for IRQ 12, so I just
- copied the one for the AT controller and changed the IRQ, was that OK?
- Isn't kconfig supposed to put an entry in there for you?
- Anways...I rebuilt the kernel and went to sysadm to add the hard disk.
- I assume the SCSI card is controller 1, and the SCSI drive is ID 0, so
- I used drive 0. It says its making the special files, then it comes back
- and says that it can't read the drive parameters and to check the controller.
-
- I've tried several things, but it just won't go. I told the SCSI card that
- there is an AT hard disk present. What did I miss?
-
- Thanks...Charles
