- You should be able to boot from floppy disk and mount the root partition,
- then edit what is required. However, editing is REAL clumsy without any
- editors :-)

- I've had to do this, and yes it can be done. It is a hellish mess though.

- If AT&T's Unix won't allow you to get to a "#" prompt from the install disks
- then you can proabably use the boot disks from someone else's i386 Unix
- release such as ISC. They should be compatible enough to see and mount the
- filesystems in question.
