  10. I have installed SCO UNIX system V ver 3.2.4 and _every_
  11. time I go through either shutdown or haltsys , take down my 
  12. machine (i.e. power down), when I come back up I either have:
  13.  
  14.      a. corrupted root file system that must be fixed
  15.         with fsck (booting my machine automatically 'determines' this)
  16.  or  b. I simply can't boot at all, I stop on "J", which is the last
  17.         thing before the boot-disk  boots.

  19.      does anyone have a similar problem, I have this configuration:
  20.            386-25sx; FutureDomain TMC885 controller, Maxtor 3280xt drive(s)
