- I have a client with Interactive 2.2 that had SLIP running at one time,
- and wants me to fix it. It seems to have been supplied with the TCP/IP
- package on that system. However, I can't find any documentation on it
- (either it's undocumented, or they lost it).
-
- Has anyone set one of these up? There's a "sldialup" and "sllogin" (and,
- I think, "slattach") in /usr/ucb, and I have the syntax they used to use
- to invoke a SLIP session:
-
- /usr/ucb/sldialup tty00 9600
-
- (Connects to modem on local system)
-
- ATZ
- ATDTxxxxxxx
-
- login: sliplogid
- password: xxxxxx
-
- The above login is supposed to invoke "sllogin" on the other side, which then
- apparently will work with sldialup to maintain the connection. One then uses
- rlogin to get to the other system.
-
- I'm wondering what else is required - files and syntax - to have it configured
- properly. Any ideas, or pointers to documentation?
