  11. I've installed the FAS 2.10 async serial driver on my MST SVR4
  12. system and haven't been able to get uucico to work with it.

  14. I'm using the NS16550A UARTS as suggested, and have a couple 
  15. USR Courier V.32bis modems connected.

  17. I can dial in and login, use the shell and vi fine, and flow
  18. control seems to be working OK.
  19.  
  20. But when I try to make a UUCP connection, uucico dies in negotiating
  21. the g protocol (see audit file lines below).

  23. In the INSTALLATION notes, Uwe makes brief mention of using FAS
  24. under SVR4 with ttcompat etc.  I have ttcompat etc. installed
  25. and configured in my kernel, but it's not clear how to apply them
  26. to FAS.

  28. Does SVR4 uucico require STREAMS, and if so, how do I put a STREAMS
  29. layer on top of FAS?

  31. I have an alpha version of SAS, but it doesn't seem to work.  Is
  32. there a version that's ready, and will that solve my problem?
