  14. I need to get a 12-port card working under SCO unix System V R3.2 Version
  15. 4. Here is some information about the card:
  16. Global View 12-port Intelligent Adapter: 80186CPU , 6 DARTUS, 12 R-232
  17. serial ports with DB25 connectors. JP2 is for IRQ setting (default is 10),
  18. JP3 is for wait-state setting (default is 0), and SW1 is for base address
  19. setting (default is 0x300).

  21. Following the instructions, I load the installation program to the hard
  22. drive, then run the program in single user mode:
  23. ./gviiop
  24.  
  25. According to the instruction, the screen should come out an menu for
  26. further installation. However, I only got a line saying:
  27. installation stop.

  29. I tried to set IRQ as 4, base address 0x3f8, then 3 and 0x2fe. It was just
  30. the same. I called the company, but no one answer the phone. I know this
  31. is not a standard card. But if you happen to use the same kind of card.
  32. I'd like to know :
  33. (1) How do you get it working?
  34. (2) Is there a problem on the installation program?
  35. (3) What IRQ number and base address should I use?
