- I want to thank everyone who has responded to my question about how you
- can run MS Windows 3.1 via SCO UNIX. Digging deeper we found that the
- only real requirement for our company's internal software package is
- a windowing environment supporting MOTIF.
-
- We have identified 3 possibilities:
-
- 1. Open Desk Top (ODT)
- 2. DeskView/X
- 3. JSB multiview w/ MS Windows 3.1
-
- Unfortunately, one of the only environments that the other department
- has NOT ported the code to is SCO UNIX which our department uses. :-(
- They HAVE ported it to HP UNIX. So, the only option we have is
- JSB multiview w/ MS Windows 3.1 at least for now.
-
- This may not be so bad because ODT is a great deal more expensive than
- JSB multiview and MS Windows 3.1 combined, and DeskView/X is only
- slighty cheaper.
-
- Thanks again.
