  13.   Somebody out here must know how I can successfully compile libX11.a, etc.
  14. for SCO unix 3.2.2! I have tried for weeks with no luck. I always
  15. come up with these unresolved externals:
  16.   _XWriteV
  17.   _XReadV
  18.   _XBytesReadable
  19. This happens even when I use -DLOCALCONN...
  20.  
  21. I don't have libsocket.a or anything else not in the plain dev. system,
  22. so I can't compile with networking. (and this is only running on my machine
  23. so I don't need networking).

  25. I've been leaving similar messages for a couple weeks with no useful replies,
  26. so if there is anyone out there who has compiled the X libs for themselves
  27. on SCO UNIX 3.2.2 with Dev. System 3.2.0, please tell me how!

  29. Again, I can't afford to shovel out more money to by more SCO products like
  30.   TCP/IP dev. sys. or X dev. system...so don't please don't respond to me
  31.   with that non-solution.
