  25. Randy, I hate to disagree, but I don't care how badly he messed up his
  26. build parameters, if the kernel panics the o/s is at fault, not the
  27. user or the software.

  29. You could put a copy of the updated perl up to ftp if you wanted, that
  30. would protect his delicate kernel and save the rest of us the effort of
  31. getting the patch and building it ;-)
