  22. working by some people, so I don't think it's all that broken. The 2.1
  23. was so nice about doing the dialing and starting the connection, but I
  24. haven't tried 2.2 yet for SLIP.

  29. change the jumper to the other way. I had a problem with this on another
  30. brand of card, and cured it by kicking the bus speed to 12MHz (I do

  38.   As a data point I compiled cnews and nntp under the gcc-1 compiler on
  39. 2.1. I don't remember diddling anything special, although it did have a
  40. tendancy to corrupt the history file while getting an nntp feed (as does
  41. the current 2.2 using the cnews as shipped). Since I've seen this on
  42. other systems I assumed it was just a feature of cnews.
