  11. I am being plagued with alarm conditions on a UUCP connection.  These
  12. problems appear to be only in one direction.
  13.  
  14. In other words, I am able to perform large UUCP transfers (successfully)
  15. from my feed to me but when traffic is destined the other way, I always
  16. get alarm conditions with the transfer aborting and failing.
  17.  
  18. I realize that alarms are generally linked to negotiation or error
  19. checking problems.  Both modems on either side are standard Hayes
  20. 2400/compatibles without any built in error checking or correction.
  21.  
  22. Since this is happening in one direction only, can anyone please provide
  23. clues as to how I can track down the problem.
