- Hi,
- I have recently upgraded my system to a 486 50Mhz system with local bus
- Motherboard: G486PLB
- Local Video card: G-HOST4000, an ET4000 based board with internal oscillator of
- 50Mhz
-
- I have the mit version of X11R4 system running on SCO unix (ODT 1.1).
-
- I would appreciate any help in configuring my card in xconfig.
-
- I got the best configuration with the following setting:
- et4000 1024 800 600 25 28 33 36 39 "800x600"
-
- "800x600" 33 800 800 952 1006 600 608 610 633
-
- But unfortunately: I had two images of the root window side by side each takes
- less than one half screen.
- The height was OK, but the width was less than half the screen with.
-
- What can I do to fix this problem?
- is there any way to set the video mode to 1024x768/256 without going through
- the process of calculating the frequencies as done successfully by DOS ?
-
- Thanks,
- Oz
